Refund Policy
1. Scope of This Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all payments made to Freeddy (“we”, “us”, “Company”) for access to the Freeddy platform (“Service”), including Standard Subscriptions and Founding Member access. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
2. Standard Subscription — 14-Day Refund Guarantee
If you are a Standard Subscriber (monthly or annual plan), you are entitled to a full refund of your most recent payment if you request it within 14 calendar days of the charge date, unless otherwise stated below. This guarantee applies once per account lifetime.
Eligibility Conditions
- The refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the charge.
- Your account must not have been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
- The refund applies to the most recent billing cycle only. Prior billing cycles are non-refundable.
- Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused portion only within the first 14 days. After 14 days, no pro-rated refunds are issued.
3. Founding Member Access — Special Terms
The Founding Member offer is a special early-access programme providing a lifetime price lock at $9/month. Given the privileged nature of this offer (reserved for the first 100 members), the following refund terms apply:
- You are eligible for a full refund within 14 calendar days of your first Founding Member payment.
- After 14 days, the Founding Member fee is non-refundable, and your price lock may be revoked if you cancel.
- If you cancel your Founding Membership after the 14-day window and re-subscribe, you will be subject to the standard pricing in effect at that time.
- The Founding Member price lock is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be sold, gifted, or transferred to another account or individual.
4. Beta / Waitlist Payments
If you have made any payment during a pre-launch beta or waitlist campaign and the Service is not delivered within 180 days of the advertised launch date, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid upon request.
5. Payments Made via Third-Party Clients (Stripe / Razorpay)
All payments are processed through Stripe, Razorpay, or equivalent payment processors. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times vary by provider:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days.
- UPI/Net Banking: 3–5 business days.
- International Wire/PayPal: Up to 15 business days.
We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
6. Non-Refundable Circumstances
The following are explicitly not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service (AUP breach, fraud, abuse).
- Requests made after the applicable 14-day refund window.
- Payments made for add-ons, one-time features, or third-party integrations that have already been consumed or activated.
- Subscription fees for periods already elapsed (i.e., you cannot claim a refund for last month's fees this month).
- Fees paid to third-party services via Freeddy integrations (e.g., payment gateway transaction fees).
- Chargebacks filed without first contacting us. We will contest fraudulent chargebacks and may permanently ban associated accounts.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings under “Billing & Plan”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date.
Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. You must separately submit a refund request (per Section 2 or 3 above) within the eligible window.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to inquiries@freeddy.online with:
- Subject line: “Refund Request — [Your Registered Email]”
- Your full name and registered email address.
- The date of the charge and the approximate amount.
- The reason for your refund request (optional but helpful for our improvement).
We will respond within 3 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 business days of approval.
9. Consumer Rights Under Indian Law
If you are a consumer resident in India, you may also have rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable Indian consumer protection law.
If you believe your dispute has not been adequately resolved, you may escalate your complaint to the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or the relevant State Commission.
10. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will not apply retroactively to payments already made. We will provide at least 14 days' notice via email before material changes take effect.
